Lots of things happened today!  First off, I went to the Le Cordon Bleu of Sacramento to check out the culinary school.  I got a tour of each class you take like Culinary I, II, III, Baking & Pastry, etc.  The school was good, there was no student-run restaurant class though.  I finished up there and on my way home, my tire blew out on Interstate-5!  I hit something really hard so I pulled off to the side.  I called AAA and waited; a police car even came and sat behind me.  When AAA was fixing my tire, it turns out that my spare tire was flat too!  So he hooked something to the the engine and tire and pumped and sealed it off.  I headed back to Folsom, ate lunch, and then Maca and I went to Les Schwab.  What was fun was, while my car was being fixed (for free by the way!) we looked around in Trader Joes; which is always fun.  Right next to it was the Harvest Bread Co. which is what I’d been looking for before.  So I went in there to look for a job.  He said to check back for holiday help; like an internship.  I told him I was going to culinary school and we started talking about Le Cordon Bleu; which he said was the best school.  San Francisco was the best school to go to in his opinion; the best professors.  So that was helpful.  It turned out that Les Schwab didn’t have my right tire so I have to go back tomorrow.  Our last stop was the Verizon store to activate my new phone (a Kin 2).

I almost forgot, I took my nose stud out today!  It was just the most annoying thing.  Especially when I go to culinary school.  When I was working for Sodexho at SPU, I was preparing food and I was bend over so the nose stud kept moving and coming down.  So I just took it out.  After I took it out I counted how long I’d had it in (5 weeks).  It had 6 weeks healing time and if I knew I only had 1 week to go, I would have waited to take it out!  Oh well
